Ray Hanselman, fresh off a dominant season in the FLW Rayovac Series that saw him win all three Texas Division tournaments and the series championship, in conjunction with the C.A.S.T. For Kids Foundation, is auctioning a day-long guided fishing trip at Lake Amistad for the winner and one companion.
Hanselman has guided at Amistad for many years and is in tune with where the lake's mammoth largemouths and resurgent smallmouths like to hang out.
Jim Behnken of the C.A.S.T For Kids Foundation will oversee the bidding. To enter a bid, send Behnken an email at jimb@castforkids.org with the amount of your bid. Bidding will close at 6 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 11.
The winning bidder will pay the full donation amount directly to the C.A.S.T. For Kids Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides fishing and other outdoor activities for special needs, disabled, and disadvantaged children as well as military personnel through its Take A Warrior Fishing program.
The winner will receive a receipt for the tax-deductible contribution. The winning bidder and Hanselman will then select a mutually agreeable date to fish together.
