Duckett Fishing, the company founded in 2010 by former Bassmaster Classic champion Boyd Duckett, has introduced a line of inshore rods. The series will feature saltwater-specific spinning and casting models.
“The Inshore Series started in a different way," said Duckett. "We didn’t sit down in a board meeting one day and say, ‘Hey, let’s do saltwater next.’ This series happened because it seemed that everywhere we went people asked us to make a saltwater rod.
“We listened and then went to work. We went literally from coast to coast and consulted with inshore fishermen, guides, store managers and store employees from around the country. We used the advice to help us create a fantastic series of rods that will meet the specific needs of inshore anglers. ”
Duckett Fishing’s Inshore Series rods are available at Academy Sports, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods and many independent retailers nationwide.
