Big O high and still a little cool

After driving 3,600 miles from his Corvallis, Ore. home over the previous 5 days, Jay Yelas was thrilled to be piloting his boat rather than his truck on Sunday as practice for the FLW Tour season opener at Florida's Lake Okeechobee got under way. He discovered that the lake level is perhaps 2 feet higher than it was when the Tour last visited in 2014 and that the water is still a bit cool for optimum fishing, but that could change with a few warm days ahead.
