Texan Todd Castledine took an early 3-pound advantage Thursday as he caught a 22-03 stringer on day 1 of the Central FLW Costa Series event at Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas.
Castledine's bag was the only one in the field of 190 anglers that topped 20 pounds. Twenty-eight anglers failed to weigh a fish.
The field will be cut to the Top-10 after the day-2 weigh-in, with the winner determined after Saturday's final round.
