Withdrawals knock Pickwick field down to 163

FLW announced Wednesday that four anglers will not compete at the Pickwick Lake FLW Tour this week, but plan to return for the final two tournaments of the season. Two other anglers also informed FLW of their plans to withdraw from the Tour for the balance of the season.

Shirley Crain, Tim McDonald, Robert Pearson and Nick Prvonozac will not compete this week, all intend to return for the final two events of the season at Kentucky Lake and Lake Champlain, both in June.

Crain, McDonald and Pearson were all near the bottom of the points standings, but Prvonozac was 66th after three events. No reasons were given for the anglers' withdrawals.

Chris Baumgardner and Tony Dumitras have withdrawn from the Tour and will not compete in any Tour-level events this season. Baumgardner, a longtime pro, had posted three finishes of 82nd or lower so far and was 101st in points. Dumitras had fished two of the first three tournaments and was near the bottom of the points standings.

A field of 163 anglers will compete this week at Pickwick Lake.
