T-H Marine Supplies announced today that it's acquired Minnesota-based Tonka Customs, which manufactures the Wave Tamer bow sonar mounts. Tonka Customs was co-founded by FLW Tour pro Andy Young.
"Over the past couple years, several of our pro staff told us about a bow sonar mount that they considered 'awesome,''' said T-H president Jeff Huntley. "It was extremely strong, mounted to the deck in a sturdy manner and was available in a variety of colors. After hearing about it over and over, we checked it out and they were right."
Said Young: “I’m excited to see a project we worked so hard developing take the next step with a company like T-H Marine. I built this mount with my own two hands. I know personally what this mount can do."
