In a Facebook post on Wednesday night, Luke Clausen addressed his disqualification from the Wheeler Lake Elite Series and subsequent appeal, which was unsuccessful.
"I’m shocked, confused, embarrassed, and more than a little ticked off," Clausen wrote.
He added that he wants to move on with the rest of the Elite Series season despite dropping toward the bottom of the Angler of the Year standings as a result of the DQ.
