Reigning Bassmaster Classic champion Edwin Evers and three Purple Heart veterans will be on the water in Jonesboro, Ark. on Tuesday, and the action will be live-streamed from Bassmaster.com from 9 a.m. to noon CT.
The event is the third of four stops of the Healing Heroes in Action Tour, an initiative of OPTIMA Batteries and Evers to raise money for the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation (WWIAF) and provide once-in-a-lifetime fishing experiences for veterans. Fans had the opportunity to bid on Evers' Facebook to compete against him and his veteran partners and raised $6,600 for this event. To-date the Healing Heroes in Action Tour has raised more than $20,000 for the WWIAF.
