Elite Series pros to appear at NYS Fair

A group of Elite Series competitors will be appearing at the New York State Fair on Saturday in Syracuse, N.Y. as part of a fishing clinic and demonstration.

Scheduled to appear are: Fletcher Shryock, David Mullins, John Murray, Bill Lowen, Carl Jocumsen, Jay Brainerd, Brandon Lester, J Todd Tucker, Russ Lane and Randy Allen. Bass University co-founder Pete Gluszek will also be on hand.

The day will start with a friendly tournament at Onondaga Lake between the pro anglers and 10 local B.A.S.S. Nation members. From 8 to 10 a.m., a free fishing clinic will be held at Onondaga Lake Park courtesy of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (all equipment and bait are provided). Anyone who participates in the fishing clinic will receive a free pass to attend the State Fair on Saturday.

After the tournament, the anglers and their boats will be at the Family Fun Center for a weigh-in and meet and greet event.
