Freedom Tackle signs Lawyer

Freedom Tackle announced today it has signed FLW Tour angler Jeremy Lawyer to its pro staff. Lawyer, who won the 2016 BFL All-American and went on to a top-10 finish at the Forrest Wood Cup, will be an FLW Tour rookie in 2017.

“Coming off a strong 2016, which included winning the All-American Championship, we felt that the timing was perfect to add Jeremy to our team for his rookie season,” said Freedom general manager Tom Chopin. “Jeremy is self professed lure tinkerer and Freedom swing hook products allow the customization that is needed to succeed on tour, so the match between angler and product couldn’t be better. We are very excited to work with Jeremy as he takes the next step in his fishing career."

Jeremy is just as excited about the partnership.

“My rookie season is going to be a new adventure fishing at the highest level," Lawyer said, "and it’s great to have a company on board that understands fisherman’s needs, is innovative, and wants input from their pros to make products that catch fish. I’m excited for the road that we are heading down together."
