It's not often pro bass anglers attract attention from mainstream media outlets, but last week reigning FLW Tour Angler of the Year Bryan Thrift got some airtime on the FOX affiliate out of Charlotte, N.C.
Thrift was joined by meteorologist John Zeigler for a few hours on Moss Lake, not far from Thrift's home in Shelby, N.C. From the looks of it, the spotted bass were willing participants and Zeigler even caught a few on camera, boasting at one point he'd caught more than Thrift.
