
Elite Series angler Brock Mosley has added Tricked Out Marine as a sponsor for the 2018 season.
Tricked Out is a family-owned business based in Frisco, Texas, that specializes in LED marine lighting.
Company owner Mike Hodgson said he grew up fishing small lakes near Memphis, Tenn., and even spent a day in the boat with Bill Dance when he was younger, so the opportunity to market his brand with the help of pro anglers has him excited.
“This has been a long time coming,” said Hodgson. “I’m a small company, just a mom and pop operation, but we’ve been growing it little by little over the past seven years and it’s finally starting to kick in and we’re starting to build a brand. I’m looking forward to 2018 with people like Brock. He’s just a down-to-earth guy. I’m pretty excited about it.”
Hodgson learned the ins and outs of electronics as an electrical technician in the Navy and also used to operate a marine electronics shop near Lake Fork.
Among the features of Tricked Out products is the ability for users to change the colors and functions of their lights through a Bluetooth-enabled app on a mobile device.
