Susquehanna smallies are full of plastics

The Chesapeake Bay Journal recently reported on a study by Susquehanna University students that found an average of 29 pieces of microplastics in the stomachs of 89 smallmouth bass that were sampled from the Susquehanna River. The pieces, approximately the size of a grain of rice, came from a variety of discarded items.
