Chris Lane's son in Top 10 at Neely Henry

Cal Lane, the 18-year-old son of Bass Pro Tour competitor and former Bassmaster Classic champion Chris Lane, is among the Top 10 who'll fish in Friday's final round of the Lake Neely Henry Southeastern Toyota Series. The younger Lane is in 10th place at the tough-bite event with a two-day total of 17-14.

The 2020 high school graduate is assured of his best finish yet at the triple-A level – he was 26th at Wheeler and 23rd at Eufaula in the division's other two events earlier this summer.

Mark McCaig took over the lead on day 2 with a tournament-best 14-10 stringer for a 23-09 total. He has an 11-ounce advantage over 2nd-place Derek Hicks (22-14).
