AMPD Marine, a manufacturer of boating storage solutions, has partnered with Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit angler Jordan Osborne to lead its national pro staff.
Osborne is entering his 6th year on the Pro Circuit and has qualified for three consecutive championship events.
“I’m so excited to represent a company that's located in my hometown (Longview, Texas) with products that I truly believe in," he said. "AMPD Marine is developing products that improve an angler’s ability to utilize the storage areas in a bass boat. My Bass Cat Cougar has an abundance of storage space. We were able to take that space and create a versatile system to organize my tackle. These storage systems are really a no-brainer and when you see it, you have to have it."
AMPD Marine was formed in October of 2020 as a division of longtime family owned East Texas Truck Equipment, Inc. Owner Tracey Davis, along with design engineer Bill Terkeurst, set out to enhance the tackle storage on Davis' Skeeter boat. Terkeurst has been laser-cutting and creating products for the transportation industry since 1996 and has a background in industrial equipment diagnostics, modification, fabrication and repair that gives him a unique perspective on product development.
After designing and building soft-plastics organizers for his boat, he began designing tackle organizers for other Skeeter models.
“I put a few pictures of our product on Facebook and my phone blew up. That’s when I knew we were on to something” Davis said.
AMPD Marine immediately started to produce and expand its offering of tackle organizers for other brands such as Ranger, Phoenix, Vexus, and now Bass Cat. In the process, and with the help of sales director Page Johnson, AMPD Marine has established a dealer network in seven states in the Southeast and is quickly expanding its reach to other parts of the country.
