Mustad adds LIVETARGET to its portfolio

Angling International reported today that hook-making giant Mustad has purchased LIVETARGET, the Canada-based manufacturer of freshwater and saltwater baits. It's the second such acquisition for Mustad in the past couple of years as it continues to expand its umbrella – the company acquired line manufacturer TUF-Line in 2019.

“Mustad has been on the lookout for strong brands with high potential to expand the selection of different quality brands and products in each product group within the trade," said Kenni Riise, the CEO of Norway-based Mustad. "We feel that LIVETARGET meets these expectations and more and will support our ambition of becoming a multi-brand powerhouse."
