A new docuseries titled "Never Give Up! The Mike Iaconelli Story" is set to premiere on You Tube this week.
As Iaconelli returns to his roots in bass fishing with the 2022 Bassmaster Elite Series, he’s launching an 18-week docuseries on how fishing has impacted his life and how the twists and turns of that journey have shaped him into one of the most successful bass anglers of all time.
"The one thing that comes out loud and clear is that in life things happen when they are supposed to happen, and when I look back at my highest highs and lowest lows, they all came at times when they were supposed to happen," Iaconelli said.
Episodes will be released every Tuesday on the Mike Iaconelli Fishing YouTube channel. The first episode airs this week (Feb. 8).
In addition to being the only angler to ever win the Bassmaster Classic, Bassmaster Angler of the Year and the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Championships, Iaconelli put together a streak of 19 consecutive Classic appearances. In recent years, he's developed his own entertainment, education, and charitable entities: The Bass University, Ike Live Podcast, Going Ike YouTube Series and The Ike Foundation. He's served as the host of several TV shows – "City Limits" on the Pursuit Channel, "Fish My City with Mike Iaconelli" on NatGeo Wild and most recently "My World with Mike Iaconelli’ on the CBS Sports Network.
