Heavy Hitters will air on CBS Sunday

Major League Fishing’s Heavy Hitters, the Bass Pro Tour all-star tournament filmed earlier this year on Lake Palestine in Tyler, Texas, will premiere nationwide this Sunday (Dec. 11) on the CBS Television Network and Paramount+ from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET (or 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET, depending on local NFL schedule). The program showcases 32 pro anglers competing in the no-entry-fee tournament for a purse of more than $500,000, with a top prize of $100,000 to the winner along with Big Bass Bonuses during the competition that pay out $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000 to the biggest fish caught in the Qualifying, Knockout and Championship rounds.

Sunday’s airing on CBS will showcase highlights from all five days of competition, with behind-the-scenes angler commentary and interviews as well as one of the most dramatic third-period comebacks in MLF history.
