An angler set a new catch-and-release standard for smallmouth bass in Idaho with a fish that measured 23.75 inches in length from Dworshak Reservoir, which has become a hotspot for big bronzebacks. Catch-and-release entries aren't weighed, but the length was equal to the state record 9.72-pounder caught in 2006.
