New Kings of Bass season will focus on VanDam

Kings of Bass TV announces “The Last Ride with KVD” following Kevin VanDam’s retirement
announcement earlier this week. After spending 32 years as the most dominant angler in the history of professional bass fishing, the Kings of Bass crew will be exclusively covering KVD’s final season on tour, reflecting on the past and looking ahead to the future.

“After following KVD on tour with Kings of Bass for the past two seasons, our crew has developed a very close relationship with him,” said Brandon Owczarak, senior video field producer for Rather Outdoors. “We're able to share moments behind the scenes that most people never get to see. This season on Kings of Bass: The Last Ride with KVD, you're going to get a glimpse into the mind of the greatest bass fisherman of all time.”

Although this is KVD’s last year competing in the MLF Bass Pro Tour, he is not leaving the industry all together.

“This being my 33rd season as a touring pro, at the age and my place in life and career, I have decided I can be more impactful in the industry I love very much,” he said. “I still have a lot to give back to the sport I am so passionate about.”

Kings of Bass TV fetures top pros sharing tactics and techniques while fishing a variety of locations and seasons throughout the U.S. KOB also gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the daily life of pros, including their life on tour, their head-to-head competitions and their home life during the off season.
