Day 1 of Open at Harris Chain postponed

LEESBURG, Fla. ¬– B.A.S.S. officials have postponed Day 1 competition at the Bassmaster Open at the Harris Chain of Lakes due to forecasted severe weather, which included lightning and winds gusting to 35 mph. The National Weather Service also issued a Tornado Watch for the area.

The full field of anglers will now compete on Friday and Saturday.

Daily takeoffs will be held from Ski Beach at 7:15 a.m. ET and weigh-ins each day will take place back at the launch site at 3:15 p.m.
