Tucker/Green tandem wins ABT Championship

The team of Terry Tucker and Jeremy Green took top honors over the weekend at the 10th edition of tghe Alabama Bass Trail Championship at Weiss Lake. They topped a field of 75 teams to earn $50,000.

Tucker and Green weighed 31.74 pounds over two days. They targeted isolated big fish and reported catching everything they weighed on white spinnerbaits (3/8- or 1/2-ounce) to cover the entire water column.

CJ Knight and Anthony Goggins were 2nd with 28.50. They primarily fished wood and docks and their key baits inlcuded a Rapala Shad Rap, a 9/16-ounce jig and various small crankbaits.

Michael Wooley and Joe Wooley tallied 28.03 to finish 3rd. They fished laydowns and stumps far up the Coosa River with 1/8-ounce Ned rigs.
