Bobby Lane announced via a Facebook post that he'll return to the MLF Bass Pro Tour in 2024 via an exemption available to him as the 2022 REDCREST champion, citing family and sponsorship considerations for the move.
Lane left the BPT a year ago in a quest to join brother Chris as a Bassmaster Classic champion. He attempted to qualify for the Elite Series through the Opens, but came up one spot short with an 11th-place finish in the EQ (Elite Qualifiers) Division.
