Giant Bass Open headed for Kentucky Lake

The next stop for the Bill Dance Signature Lakes Giant Bass Open is at Kentucky Lake on Sept. 14-15.

Each tournament pays out more than $55,000 in hourly cash prizes for eight adults and eight youths, for a total of 224 checks over the course of the event. Each hour, the largest adult bass will pay $1,000 and the largest youth bass will receive $500.

The heaviest overall bass weighed in by an adult will pay an additional $5,000, and the largest bass weighed by a youth will pay an additional $1,500.
