Milliken facing tourney fraud charge in Texas

Ben Milliken, a member of the talented 2024 Bassmaster Elite Series rookie class who was recently selected to be part of the circuit's newly formed Advisory Board, is facing a charge of freshwater fishing tournament fraud in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

A local newspaper report states that Milliken has been charged with not having a valid license when he entered a fish last February in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Toyota ShareLunker program and knowingly falsifying the contest entry form.

Milliken finished 28th in this year's Angler of the Year race, notching Top-10 finishes in the season's first two events in his home state of Texas.

Milliken posted the statement embedded below on his Instagram account.
