Cincinnati Bassmaster Elite Series rookie Bill Lowen still leads the BassFan Rookie of the Year (ROY) Race, but his 10-point lead is now down to just 3 points after he posted his second-worst finish of the season (56th) at last week's Oneida Lake event.
Fellow Elite Series rookie Jared Lintner, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., finished 20th in that event and remains 2nd in the ROY standings.
Oklahoma's Brad Hallman and Louisiana's Jeff Connella remain at 3rd and 4th, and are six and 12 points behind Lowen, respectively.
Major Top 10 moves include:
> Darrin Schwenkbeck of Silver Spring, Md., who moves from 10th to 5th thanks to a 31st at Oneida;
> Canada's Jon Bondy, who finished 22nd at Oneida and moves up six places to 8th in the race.
