Evinrude, FLW ink multi-year deal

FLW announced today that BRP’s Evinrude brand has re-signed a multi-year agreement to remain an official outboard engine sponsor, marking its 15th consecutive year as a sponsor of the organization. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"FLW is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with Evinrude,” said Trish Blake, FLW president of marketing. “Evinrude’s dedication and support to tournament bass fishing is unparalleled.”

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Evinrude will launch a contingency award program for boaters competing in BFLs. BRP will award $300 to the highest Evinrude finisher in each qualifying tournament, $1,000 at regional events and $5,000 at the BFL All-American if he or she is the registered owner of a 2012 or newer 90- to 250-horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine. All contingency payouts will be administered by FLW, allowing for immediate distribution at each tournament.
