Yelas auctioning trip for C.A.S.T.

Yelas auctioning trip for C.A.S.T.

Jay Yelas is auctioning off a 1-day fishing trip, giving the winning bidder his or her choice of a bass excursion for two in the Southeast this summer or a salmon trip for four on the Oregon coast this fall.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, which provides fishing and outdoor activities for special needs, disabled or disadvantaged children, as well as military personnel through the "Take A Warrior Fishing" program. CAST is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and the winner will receive a letter acknowledging the tax-deductible donation to the foundation.

The auction will conclude at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday (May 1). Yelas will then contact the winner, and a date and time convenient for both parties will be determined.

Bids can be placed in the "Comments" section of the auction post on Yelas' Facebook page. For more about C.A.S.T. for Kids, click here.
