Lane to host tournament, kids camp

Bassmaster Elite Series pro Chris Lane, in conjunction with Guntersville Foodland Plus, will host the 2nd Annual Foodland Bass Team Tournament on Lake Guntersville May 28th, as well as the 9th Annual Reeling in Future Pros Kids Camp that same day.

The tournament begins at safe light with approximately 200 two-person teams chasing the $10,000 grand prize. The Reeling in Future Pros Kids Camp, for ages 5 and up, is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to 125 kids.

“I am truly excited to be hosting these fantastic events along with the good people at Foodland,” said Lane. “We want the whole community to come out and be part of the fun and this great Alabama tradition – bass fishing!”

In addition to the guaranteed $10,000 grand prize, a big-bass prize will go to the two anglers who weigh in the two biggest fish.
