Williamson signs with Cashion

Cashion Fishing Rods has added veteran Elite Series angler Jason Williamson to its pro staff, the company announced today.

Williamson is preparing for his xxth season on the Elite Series and also for his second career Bassmaster Classic.

“J-Will has already jumped in with both feet and shown us his desire to help design, test, and sell equipment on a daily basis," said Matthew Cashion, owner of Cashion Fishing Rods. "We are proud to add him to the team."

Cashion also was impressed with Williamson's broad fan base and his family-oriented demeanor.

“I am really excited to work with people that care so much about building a quality product," Williamson said. "It’s difficult to build a rod that has a great balance, sensitivity, and is light. To be able to cover those three aspects and add the durability and strength that Cashion has is unseen in today’s market. It's no doubt the best rod on the market today."
