Jonathan Henry, who was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in the fall of 2015, has announced that he will not compete on the FLW Tour in 2018 so he can devote more energy to fighting the disease.
Henry made the announcement on his Facebook page Monday afternoon. He fished as a pro on the FLW Tour this year and cashed two checks (to read more about how he did it, click here). Now, he's asking for help as he and his wife face mounting medical bills as his condition is requiring additional treatments. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help defray those medical costs.
