The story of a gut-hooked chicken

A columnist for the Sand Mountain Reporter in Albertville, Ala. produced a piece this week on how a kid once enticed a chicken to eat a rubber worm that was attached to a hook. Cutting your line with the hook in place may allow a gut-hooked bass to survive, but it apparently doesn't work on barnyard fowl.
