Joe Balog has been on a big-swimbait kick recently and he acquired a hard-to-find, ultra-expensive Deps 250 glide bait at the Bassmaster Classic Expo in March. He hasn't caught any real behemoths on it yet, but the first fish he hooked on the monstrous offering – a 3-pounder – caused him to laugh uncontrollably. And he just can't stop thinking about what bass think of the enormous splash the six-ounce lure makes every time it hits the water.
