Howell boat giveaway to take place Saturday

The 12th edition of MLF angler Randy Howell's boat giveaway to benefit Kings Home will take place on Saturday. This year's model is 2022 Triton 21-XRT Elite with a Mercury 250 Pro-XS four-stroke engine. It has Lowrance HDS live units, Lowrance Ghost trolling motor Gatorguard keel shield, T-H marine Atlas HD hydraulic jackplate, two Power-Poles, a Custom Bluewater LED lighting package on boat and trailer, three Impulse lithium batteries, Power-Pole Charge system, T-H Marine Hydrowave and accessories, stainless steel fenders and 17-inch Triton custom wheel package with General tires. Its retail value is over $100,000.

King's Home is an independent, faith-based ministry that operates group homes on six campuses across four counties in Alabama, serving kids, teens and women with children. All residents of Kings Home have suffered severe abuse, abandonment, and neglect. The operating budget at King's Home is very dependent on private donations.

Tickets are $100 each. There are no limits on the number of ticket donations and the winner need not be present. Ticket donations will be taken until noon Central on Saturday at www.KingsHome.com/randyhowell.

The ticket drawing will be live-streamed from the big stage at the kids' fishing event, on Facebook.com/randyhowellfishing at 2 p.m. Central on Saturday.
