Lane event gives out $41,000 in scholarships

The annual Bobby Lane Cup, held recently at the Camp Mack Lodge on Florida's Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, awarded $41,000 in scholarships to high school students. Thirteen scholarship winners received $3,000 apiece and there were two memorial scholarships for $1,000.

Tripp Berlinsky and Jacob Sharpe (top) photo won the event's high school division with a 22.06-pound stringer. Gus DeVane and Kayden O'Dell (bottom photo) topped the junior division with 16.18 pounds.

The winners of the $3,000 scholarships represented 12 different high schools.
