American Baitworks announced that it's acquired the remaining ownership shares of Freedom Tackle from company founders Michael and Nick Tamburro. The Canadian brothers launched the company in 2012.

building our fishing tackle brand,” said Michael Tamburro. “This strategic move positions us to start a new chapter and give American Baitworks the foundation to grow and expand the Freedom brand.

In addition to Freedom, the American Baitworks portfolio includes BaitFuel, NetBait, Halo Fishing, Snag Proof, Scum Frog and STH Bait Co.
