Younger generation steps up at VRX Fishing

VRX Fishing, the manufacturer of X Zone Lures and the Rod Glove, has announced a leadership transition from founder Jim Van Ryn to sons Zac and Nick.

The sons have been an integral part of the company for a number of years. Nick spent seven years in product development and production and Zac has has worked for three years as daily operations manager.

“Zac and Nick have exceeded my expectations in both work ethic and knowledge of all aspects of the business," said Jim Van Ryn. "I am confident that their passion for the business will be exactly what our company needs to build on the established foundation.”

The elder Van Ryn, who launched the company in 2010, said his sons will bring a fresh perspective and a forward-thinking approach to the business.

"I am honored to take on the role of general manager alongside my brother," said Zac. "We are committed to upholding the legacy of what our father built while driving VRX Fishing toward greater heights."
Jim Van Ryn will remain actively involved in the company as president and consultant.
