MLF announced that veteran angler Scott Suggs of Arkansas will miss this week's Bass Pro Tour event at the Chowan River in North Carolina due to a medical issue.
The 58-year-old Suggs, a former FLW Championship winner, has endured a difficult season, finishing outside the Top 50 in all four regular-season events to date.
The tournament gets under way Tuesday and runs through Sunday.
