Keitech announces price hikes, cites tariffs

Keitech USA, makers of a line of popular soft plastics and jigs, announced via its social media Thursday that it will be increasing its prices by as much as 25 percent as well as discontinuing some sizes and colors.

"We are also limiting the product selection somewhat to focus production on the most popular items, reducing complexity and costs," the post said.

The company cited a 15-percent tariff as well as rising material costs, including raw tungsten used to make jigheads. The price increases will go into effect Aug. 16, 2025.

Keitech is believed to be the first tackle company to publicly announce it'll be raising prices due to tariff increases.
